October the members spent farm/harvest week creating a Farm shop, they arranged flowers for our pop-up farm café, baked cakes and treats to sell. We went in search of wind fall apples and

freshly laid eggs locally.  Members laid tables organised ice breaker games and hosted two days of their pop-up café.

They raised an incredible £90 which they have chosen to buy a karaoke machine with. Parents and carers loved joining in with the conversation games with us.

Alice in wonderland was our next theme of the month, lots of croquet in the garden and reading of clues on our hunt for the white rabbit, they mad hats for the Mad Hatters Tea party.  A trip to the local pet shop held the answer of where is the Rabbit (we didn’t mind that it wasn’t white) members also enjoyed looking at all the other animals and even bought our pet fish new yellow submarine.

Autumn Theme

Crisp colourful leaves, conkers and acorns inspired our members to make some autumnal crafts. Members used leaves to create a stunning sun catcher to brighten up our windows.

Lunch club we used seasonal veg to make vegetable curry, dessert was plum crumble from the plumbs we had previously picked on one of our walks.  Apples 8 ways demonstrated the members creativity, weaving, painting, dabbing onto an apple template to make some truly unique artistic masterpieces.

A trip to Sunnyfields farm pumpkin picking was a lovely way to end the week.

Halloween is now upon us, we began the week with some Pumpkin carving which we picked from Sunnyfields, Members enjoyed making some pumpkin soup to warm us up on chilly autumn days which fuelled us all ready to create our very own haunted houses!
