September has been a wonderful month at James Place, filled with creativity, new experiences, exciting adventures and plenty of time spent together. As the first signs of autumn began to appear, we made the most of the changing season with a brilliant range of activities and days out. We’ve enjoyed some fantastic adventures this month, including a trip to beautiful Mottisfont, where we explored the grounds and enjoyed the surroundings. We also enjoyed a trip to the trampoline park, where our members could get active and have plenty of fun. Another highlight was our trip to Paultons Park, where we enjoyed a brilliant day out filled with rides, attractions and lots of excitement. We also travelled back in time for our castles theme, creating our very own handmade castles before heading out to visit Odiham Castle and learning more about this historic local landmark.

Back at James Place, we’ve been keeping busy with a fantastic variety of activities. During our Cook Your Own Lunch sessions, our members got involved in preparing homemade fish cakes, salad and trifle. It was great to see everyone getting stuck in and enjoying the results of their hard work!

As autumn started to arrive, we also got creative with some seasonal crafts and gave the JP tree a makeover, transforming it with vibrant autumn leaves. Our members also put their creativity to the test by making a scarecrow, which we entered into the Dashwood Manor competition. We’re very proud of the finished creation! We’ve also continued to keep active with another brilliant dance session from Move Momentum. The sessions have been a huge success, bringing plenty of energy, music and movement to James Place, with everyone encouraged to get involved and dance along. It’s been fantastic to see our members getting involved in such a wide range of activities throughout September. From exciting days out and exploring local history to cooking, crafting, getting active and enjoying music, there really has been something for everyone. As we head into October, we’re looking forward to another month of activities, adventures and autumn fun at James Place.
